I agree that it was a clever way for the pair to rekindle their friendship, but didn't really think about it as a way to get the story out there now so that the media can be done with this aspect when the album/tour is finally released. It will also help revive Robbie's career and give him a #1 before joining Take That. Being in the US and LA, I don't really read/hear a lot of the gossip from UK mags/shows, and never thought of that perspective. I wasn't a big Take That fan in the 90's, but like their recent stuff, always a fan of Robbie's solo work, so I'm curious to hear the new music. Between Robbie and Gary, they can't go wrong really.
